Why the bible is perhaps one of the most flawed methods of reaching humans scattered across the world.

Generally speaking, the Bible is the linchpin for Judaism and Christianity. Most discussions with believers will involve the Bible at some point. A typical believer places the bible on a pedestal as a masterpiece of literature, poetry, moral teachings, etc etc.

So, let's examine a few reasons why it's quite possibly the worst method that a deity could have chosen to interact with humanity:

1. Geographic isolation. A supremely powerful and knowledgeable deity would be aware of the many scattered cultures and civilizations of humanity, and so it's highly unlikely that such a message would only be given to one tribe. Especially given that the one tribe would have no ability to translate the message and distribute it for many centuries.
   
   
2. Language barriers. Of course we have a much better understanding about how languages work, and the nuances of how to compare modern and ancient languages, especially with the benefit of the Internet. But if you were alive in 2500 BC, it would be a painstaking process to not only translate a book, but also to copy and distribute it. This leads into point 3.
   
   
3. Enormous time delays. Translation, copying, and transportation of the bible, or any book whatsoever in the ancient world, was a very tedious process. So, while decades are spent just to get significant numbers of a book from one culture/civilization to another, generations of people are living and dying without any knowledge of the work in question.
   

For the reasons above alone, an all-wise, all-powerful deity would immediately see the shortcomings of the method and take appropriate action. This could include inspiring every human culture to write a book in their own language, each with identical characters/teachings/lessons. But we know this didn't happen. The deity could also write the teachings of the book on every tree, every mountainside, or form the clouds into words. But of course that didn't happen, either.

A wise and powerful deity that loved every human would find a way for every human to know what was required for them in order to please the deity. Certainly a book has not worked, and in fact will never work. It was a flawed method 4K years ago, and still is.
